Here\'s a tip when doing your valves!!

Hi,

I adjusted the valves on my 88 last week, she runs smoother and quieter now!

Suzuki wants ~$4.00 for each valve cover bolt gasket, and you will need 8 of them.

I went to Home Depot and picked up 8 Rubber "gaskets" for 0.15 cents each.

No leaks, just thought that I would let you guys know how to save a few bucks!!

Excellent tip - I'll be doing my valves soon and I'll definitely benefit from your wisdom... or is that from your cheap-ass-edness? Either way - thanks!

That's a good looking '88. Good tip too, that sounds better than gooping them up with RTV.

I get my O rings and seals like that at the hardware store too...I think the most one has cost has been maybe twentyfive cents.

Good one! Hey call it what you like but why pay more than you need too, for a piece of plastic/rubber!!!

Glad that I could help!
