i need some help with my gsxr70 it is a 1997 and i need to know how much oil it hold and what is the best oil i should ues for it if u guys could help me out asap that would be awsome thanx.

Mobil 1 mx4t bought at autozone. It should use about 3 3/4 quarts approximately. I usually put in 3 1/2 quarts and check it and add till full. Hope this helps.

No matter what weight of oil you use you should use a oil designed for motorcycles that does not contain any molley.Molley is a friction reducer and is hard on clutches.After all clutches need friction to work.If your not hard on your bike or racing it you might get by with cheap oils but I have learned by experience not to run cheap oil in a motor used in racing applications.Just a little advice hope it helps

stick to a semi synthetic. I use Castrol and its fine.
Avoid fully synth and conventional with additives, they'll give you nightmare clutch issues cos of the low friction....
