....i was riding today and all of a sudden i noticed that my highbeam indicator on the gauge cluster wasnt on (had the highbeam switch up)..... i pulled over and looked at my headlight and it wasnt working either.....i keep flipping the low/highbeam switch and nothing.

i went home and see if the bulbs are blown...but its still good.
i checked the fuse in the fusebox by the air inlet and its good also!

can someone help me???
thanks in advance

YOUR problem is with the switch if the bulbs and fuse are ok if you run aftermarket lights
they draw more current through the switch causing the solder to melt away or the
contacts to become very brittle then brake. causing no voltage flow to the lights,
I just had to replace my switch because of aftermarket bulbs. cycle salvage in fremont ca
had a whole box of them that they let you dig through. the part was only $30.00
and once again my lites work.

also check the yellow plug under the left ram air duct, the headlight circuit runs through it and it will overheat and short out if it get corroded

yeah the yellow plug... sometimes it gets moisture in there and will cause it to not work. check that plug, spray some contact cleaner in there.
