Hi All

Having sold my last Streetfighter, K2 GSXR 1000 as getting low on funds, I bought a BMW, did not like it much so taking on a heavily modified 1988 GSXR 1100 J, Slabside, I believe, needs a fair bit of work. It has a damaged loom and tank needs respraying so bike comes with both Slabside and 2001 Bandit 1200 looms.

Spec as far as we know:

GSXR 1100J, 1988 Streetfighter

Engine: 2001 1200 Bandit, Overbored?

Frame: 1988 GSXR1100J, polished.

Front End:

GSXR 750M (1991) Forks: Polished, revalved Maxton.

Brakes: 6 pot Calipers, Wavey Discs.

2001 Bandit Wheel?

Rear End: GSXR 1100 WP Swinger, braced and polished.
2001 Bandit Rear Wheel.
Ohlins Shock.
Wavey Disk.

Bodywork: 2001 r6 Tailpiece.
GSXR1100 H Tank
Battery Under Tank?

I know, but my priority is fitting suitable loom GSXR or Bandit, hopefully checking out which Igniter fitted to original trashed loom will guide me? Next get bike started, after that make it roadworthy.

right on! the early 90's color schemes are making a comeback! fashion comes in circles. not my favorite, though.

not that it really matters, but those are not bandit wheels. most probably from the early water-cooled 1100's.
