Hi to all, I am new here on this forum.

I have my bike 2 years now and I am very happy with GSXR.

It is K9 from 2009 and is constantly under some modification.

It came time for different exhaust.
I like tinny exhausts like tylor or CS racing, the ones which are below sump intergrated in bike body.

I have asked CS racing if their exhaust kit for 2012-2016 model will fit to my K9 1000 from 2009 and they answer, NO.

Does anyone know what is difference why it shouldn't fit?

This is link what I was looking...

Thanks,
Nino.

But taylor and CS doesn't offer CAT in their listing. Mine is 2009 year. So belong to L0/L1.

SC is making for L2 and they reply that it wont fit, i still trully don't understand why.
Do i have to modify some pipings or?
Now I checked CS website. It should fit, because it's a full system. I thought it was a slip on...
You would be much better of with a quality slip-on like Akrapovic etc. CS quality doesn't look good :D

CS Racing comes from Brazil and is of unknown quality. The Taylormade is good looking but notorious for the muffler/expansion chamber blowing open. Frankly I'm surprised that the ebay item hasn't split open. It's possible that this resulted from backfiring if the PAIR system isn't disabled but that's largely a guess. If you can fabricate/weld and can do it well, it ought to be possible to build a better/stronger chamber (as I recall the Taylormade chamber was riveted together and tore apart at the rivets). Also I remember it as a slip-on so the headers in the ebay listing probably are from somewhere else. Finally Taylormade was one of several who got in trouble with the California Air Resources Board for selling unapproved exhaust systems for street bikes. They ended up paying a $7750 fine, small change compared to others.

P.S. Unfortunately the pics are long gone but this is what came to mind regarding making a better expansion chamber. He and his friend were skilled fabricators. Taylormade's strength was in making CF panels of one sort or another. I have one of his shark fin chain guards.

Thanks for a good explanation there above.
So on the end CS and Tylor are maybe only looking good and there story end up.

There is also yoshimura r11 and is street legal slip-on, which can be registered and MOT approved. I am trying to keep it legal so that i dont have to look behind for police and in another hand i like that cs or tylor integrated look so much. So I am weighting. But after more research and good answers as your, maybe I will go with another wheels first as this 3 spoke from suzuki i cant stend. So for not very high monney compare to other brands I can get TITAX for 1850USD front and rear with rear sprocket, all new.

Here's some insight into CS Racing. Note the videos, including one showing pics of the welded chamber. I'm generally impressed. The business location isn't so hot (go to maps and street view) but standards vary in different parts of the world.
