I have just bought this bike to beguine restoring it, I have been building cars and bikes since a kid (I’m now 53) so I know all fun and swearing to come with this little bike.

Looks like it was under water for many years. Are you sure you want to take that on? You will be spending three times what you can ever sell it for. Although, if you make cool you-tube videos on the process you should get many views.

I don’t build bikes for making money, the biggest pleasure is to see how you convert junk to something beautiful

Good luck with the resto. I love seeing these bikes rescued and saved.

Now I have the bike down to parts and I’m making a list of what’s needed.

Thanks for sharing your progress...you're obviously not scared off by a challenge.:cheers
We've seen some pretty rough projects restored here over the years...at least your bike appears to be complete.
Again, very cool to see another Oiler getting put back on the road.

Are you planning on doing all of the work yourself?
What are your goals?...full restoration or make it road worthy for now?
Does the engine still turn over?
Where are you located?...just curious about all of the corrosion.

Cheers,
Scott

I have just finished with chassis cleaning, next step is basting and powder coating of all steel items.
I have also prepared the carbs for a nice and cozy ultrasound bath

Cool project, forget the naysayers ... anything can be restored only takes skill, time (and money).

So how did you clean the frame/chassis?
