Hello there!
I'm about swapping my 97' engine and there is the question.
The code of mine is R727. I've found 2 new engines for sell but none of 727. One of them is coded as R726 and the second is R729. Are there any mechanical differences between them? Do they fit?

pretty sure all 97's all bolt the same, however there may be international differences in emissions and HP output, nothing that's an issue for an engine swap tho, compression and valve lash checks out go for it..

All the carb 750 engines are interchangeable, even the FI engines fit\mount but then you would need more parts,harness,ecu etc.
