I have a Garmin 550 on teh Sprint and it is great. I have taken many cross country tips on it, through thunderstorms, on back roads etc with no problems.

+1 on Zumo 550.
I have 1 for my 1098, only problem is I still need to mount it.
Been busy at the track so my street bike has not gotten any love lately :(

I got a Garmin 2820, waterproof, with the motorcycle specific wiring and headphone adapter kit, shipped to my door for $300 CDN.
Mounted it on a Techmount double platform. I use the 2nd platform for rader detector and/or IPOD.

I tried to do a search but nothing poped up. does anyone know of a good tiny waterproof gps system for bike? one mounts on my bike nice, able to make my own map on it??? :cheers
Like most people, I recommend Garmin and spytec. The Garmin Edge 1030 is said to be the most versatile GPS bike computer available for money. With full-color navigation, intelligent connection and digital processing functions. SpyTec is much simpler, something that can be used as both a hidden GPS and a personal tracker.
