On the morse the ears bolt on, on the gp tech they slip on. The GP ones wobble quite a bit where the morse stay put. I think its overall a nicer design on the bikes I have seen them on.

gp tech is pretty affordable, but the morse is a better product.

I've had a couple of Morse units on my '04 G1K. Each one seems to be built a little differently. The ears are easily replaceable but, in my case, I've two sent to me that were not the right ones for my bike. No problems getting a replacement unit, but someone out there isn't paying attention at times.

On the model for the '04 G1K there is no provision for securing the ram air tubes either.
