where would a good place to go for like a bipod be? or maybe a wedsite all about modding these guns?

But if your a first time shooter that TTI barrel will improve your accuracy.

Brdandon,

First off, if you really feel you need a bipod, Harris is one of the better ones out there. Most well equipped gun shops carry them.
If not, look here:

Figure out if you'll be shooting from prone, seated, etc and buy the length of the feet accordingly.

Secondly, as for "modding" your Savage rifle, leave it alone and spend your money on range time and ammo. That thing most likely shoots better than most young shooters will initially, all day long.

Trigger/range time is key in the beginning.
Trick, high zoot barrels and gimicks are not.
Ammo dude, buy ammo, and shoot....

You'll thank me later....
