Picture for attention an you can see what I’m playing with here ❤🤘🔥 so people here’s today’s discussion looking for information. GSXR 1100 engine 81mm pistons which is no problem. My thoughts are putting Hayabusa Pistons in my 1100 engine. First thing is which year Hayabusa category as in first or second generation which one works? Also what would be the benefit or non-benefit with compression ratios work with them Pistons land me around compression wise? Also you can see it’s turbo so like would it be a low compression application which would be more beneficial to me anyway. 81 mm which is a pretty good size bore if the compression ratio works well on boost seems like it could be a pretty good outcome. Let me know what you guys think let me know what we’re dealing with! As always thanks for help and have a great Friday. 👌🤘✌🤖

Gen 1 & 2 Hayabusa are both the same 81mm bore, but Gen 1 had 20mm wrist pins and Gen 2 has 18mm wrist pins.
You have lots of rod options...keep yours, but get them shot peened, stronger WC rods or much stronger Busa rods. Busa rods are longer, so you'll need a spacer plate.

My suggestion...1127 block & rods, 1st gen Busa pistons and a 1mm base gasket for turbo use.
