Hey,

Left my bike at my friends house for two weeks, it was covered etc and it hasn't been very cold...its a 99 Srad, so had to increase the choke to get it to start and turn over....it finally did but so much smoke was coming out the exhaust...pure white smoke....i figured maybe i flooded the engine and the fuel is not burning clean so i brought the choke back down and let it run for a bit...smoke still came out...no oil low light, no other problems, anyway after about 5 minutes, it was reduced...and after riding for a bit..there was almost no smoke.....still worried...this happen to anyone..any advice on what it could have been?

Is it cold there? It may have just been condensation. Otherwise a rich mixture (ie choke) could make it smoke. If it went away once it was warm, its probably nothing to worry about.
