My 2015 gsxr 1000 has an issue with the gear indicator. It always reads that it’s in 5th gear, even in neutral, regardless of what gear I’m in, it’s always saying 5th. I just bought the bike yesterday. It’s been flashed and been Dynoed as well. Any idea’s? Is it the gear position sensor? I’ve been reading it’s around $100 to get a new one installed? Not that great with working on bikes, I had a 600 that I was learning on until it was stolen...if it’s not too difficult to replace to fix myself I’ll give it go. Thanks for your input.
