What years of gas tanks will fit an '89 750? Obviously an 88 will but will a 90 or 91 or 92? I'm assuming the 1100 gas tanks were different than the 750's?

I'm not 100%. I think it 88'-90' fit. The 91'-92' are different. The differance between the 750 and 1100 is a low fuel sencer in the tank.

All tanks from 88-92 750's and 89-92 1100's interchange. As was stated the 1100 has a low fuel sensor on the underside near the back in the center. The 750 holds about 6oz more fuel 'cause of the 1100's sensor. That extra 6oz will get you about 1/4 mile.
