Hey guys and girls, looking for a full yoshimura titanium race system for my k5 1000. I understand that they are hard to find but said I'd give it a go. Any help is much appreciated. Cheers

Doesn't look good but you're looking for 150-506-8A80, 150-506-8A90, 150-506-8980, or 150-506-8990. Maybe Akrapovic. Le Skid sold one here awhile back.

It would probably be expensive but you could try asking Yoshimura Japan if they could make one for you.

I thought the offset oil pan was for the 07/08?
Please tell me BillV.
If you do find one I'd love to hear about it.
I have a Yosh S/S full system if you are interested.
$600.

I should correct my earlier post.
It SHOULD read, I'm told the stainless are the same only heavier.
Obviously the Ti is lighter. OOPS.

The -8A80 and -8A90 are 4 into 1 and include an offset pan. The -8980 and -8990 are 4-2-1. There also were a -5950, -5980, and -5990, which are 4-2-1 stainless. The last two digits are the muffler material and 50/80/90 are stainless/titanium/carbon. There also was a larger diameter exhaust that I think is different from these. I've seen it referred to as the AMA spec system. It might be 4-2-1.

Cool. Thank you for the help guys. Much appreciated. I have a full titanium arata system so might just hold on to that instead. Cheers

The offset pan and carbon muffler in JK750's link says it must be a 150-506-8A90, which Yoshimura says is 4 into 1. Yet the link pics look like 4-2-1 to me. Go figure.

Does it have to be Ti?
I'm told the stainless are the same only lighter.
That’s surprising. I always thought titanium is much lighter than stainless steel. I’ve had some titanium watches, which were significantly lighter than the same watches in stainless.

The only ones I found here in OZ were for a K3-4 and K7-8. The K7-8 can be used if you swap the oil pan and pick up from the K7-8 to your K5-6 (apparently). I haven't done it yet but I have the parts to do it. The K7-8 collector can be rotated and has the spring hooks to do it. This changes the power delivery supposedly, but I haven't investigated this.
