Hi I've just bought a 1999 600 srad
But I'd like to fit some usd forks on it

Will a 750 front end from a bike of the same year fit straight on or will I need to change bits

Any help and advice will be greatly appreciated

You will need top and bottom yolks and the forks ( 96-99 ). Have a srad 750 forks on mine fitted them with k-tech springs, new seals, oil etc. Much better than the 600 front end, more adjustment and even look better.

I would totally rebuild the legs first, maybe even re-valve them I think I saw valve emulators and so forth are still available for that model, or check a motorbike suspension shop like GP or whoever

at the very least do new seals and fluids, and check everything while you're in there.. you wont wanna go back in a year or so later cuz somehting is broken that could have been replaced..

superior fluid should help em perform a lil better than stock..

i forget who it was making the lower adjuster a real adjuster as apposed to an on/off, some good valves and sprung for your weight you should have pretty good front end I suspect..
