I'm polishing the frame on my 750. The right side went pretty smoothly and turned out better than expected. When moving on to the left side, I noticed those nasty looking stickers on the frame. I figured I'd just take them off but the one is the sticker with the VIN # on it. Do I remove it carefully and keep it with the bike or do I try to sand around it? I'm worried that it will take away from the finished product. Help?

I took mine off and keep it with my registration.
I have not been stoped YET so don't know if it is going to be a problem.

Could you get that first layer off easily? I mean that, how do you call it I know it's not paint, shit, that first layer... I'm thinkin' about polishing the frame too, I did a FZR1000 once but that first layer was a real %&*($ to get off, and I don't want to experience that ever again

I tried easy off and even let it sit overnight but it didn't do anything but soften it and made it easier to sand off. I had to sand it all off. Once the anodizing is gone it's no problem. I just have to get the small swirls out now and buff it. I'm glad I did it.
