Are my forks the same as a Bandit 6 or 12? I need new stanchions and maybe this is the cheapest way to replace them?

anyone?

Are they interchangeable with my yokes?

Thanks,
Andy

I dont know about bandit forks, but...

you have a 89 1100; your forks are not upside down.

From 91 on US 1100 used USD forks. Euro had USD forks from 90+. USD have different thickness at the triples than conventional.

91-94 1100 may have different thickness than 95+ (not 100%sure though)

You will need new triples anyway.

If I were you, I'd go with the USD forks, from what I know they are far superior to conventional forks.

If you go the USD route, you will need both forks, both triples, both clip-ons, front fender, and possibly a front axle and spacers, depending on what year the forks are.

Your front wheel should work, but if possible get the newest 95+ straight spoke wheels (lighter).

Your stock calipers will work on the USD forks, but then again, get some real braking power(6-pot calipers), the difference is huge (been there, done that)....
