now my bike sounds at it should. Followed the directions right on this site. You guys rule. Only one doubt though. I tightened it up so there is a 1/4 inch of motion in the chain. When I turned the motor by hand it got all tight. Is that normal? If I wiggle the chain I would eventually get the slack again. Just a little paranoid.

Sounds like your just takin the slack out of the chain when you turn the motor over!?!
I've never changed the CCT, but sounds ok to me

yeah, 1/4 in. is about perfect. You're not looking for much play in the cam chain anyhow. I have justified just enough tightening to try taking out too much slack that would possibly allow teeth skipping. Then you use best judgement on how much more you want to tighten from there, but sounds like you did well.
