I have only these pictures to help me. Can someone help me with step by step instructions. Why is the clamp that holds the dmper towards the left of the top yoke, not in the middle in line with the ignition keyhole?

your right though, that grip should be level with the stem

the cylinder body of the damper wont be inline with the stemnut, just by design....you have to adjust it to leave jus enuf leftover travel on each extreme of the hydrolic by trial and error..
