and what A SHOCK, abosolutely luxurious. I found the difference within first few meters of riding. The feedback is amazing. What an amazing improvement. Bumps on road don't affect the ride anymore, most of them don't exist any more. It is so smooth, can't explain it as I have never experienced any thing like this before. It is bloody expensive but well worth it. Next step, Ohlins fork springs. Will fit the reartail on Saturday and will send you pics. Sorry mates it's taking so long, but I am very busy these days. Still the work on bike is going on in spite of everything. Fitted quick seat release pins as well. I like them.

I'm rebuilding my 750 after being knocked off and I plan on going with the Ohlins rear shocks and forks getting a HUGE settlement.
So they make a big differnce? is the more feed back and grip in the corners in them??

It makes hell of a difference. Feedback is so accurate that I could even feel and hear the tight spot in chain each time it hit the sprocket as the vibrations and noise caused by road bumps was totally ironed out!! I went on my familiar roads and the difference is absolutely clear. Where I used to feel bumps, it would just glide through now. It holds much better in the corners, mid-corner bumps are nothing to worry about (as I have an Ohlins steering damper to go with it) and you know all the time what your wheels are upto.

But it costs about $1000 new, since it can be rebuilt professionally and there are Ohlins specialists around, I wouldn't be afraid of buying used.

Cheque this thread out for the quick release pins Find Ninj600's email. He was selling them dirt cheap. He might have some still left. Use the search words "Sargeant Cycle" and it would lead you to more info about these pins. Ninj600 started a thread on them and he was selling them for much less than Sargeant Cycle and it included shipping to US from UK. Glad to hear that you like the Ohlins shock. that is the best thing I have ever done to any of my bikes.
