Finding where my GSX-R750L came from

Looking to see if anyone would know how to find out where my bike started from. So far I have found out it's the first of the GSX-R750L's, and was black and silver as have some of the ordinal panels, had the Australian Suzuki tenth anniversary stickers. It's never been registered on New Zealand's road as spent it's life as a race bike. So have wondered if at some stage it was brought over to race here and sold off when it was finished with. So would anyone know if Suzuki Australia would know or where to find out
