Rims are the biggest pain in the ass to clean, but it must be done to make your bike look its best. You wont find a pic of my bike without it having clean rims

looks good except for those dirty rims of course. did you lower the rear? It just looks lower than normal.

I know, I know the rims are f*ckin' dirty- I parked it right after a trip in the rain and didn't get a chance to clean them yet. As far as lowering the rear-yes, I had lowering links put on cause I'm only 5'4" (sucks to be short) but hey, at least I'm able to ride my 750. I've never had clearance problems though or bottoming out, and I've ran it pretty hard on the street and track.
For 2 years my buddy's girlfriend was stuck riding a 250 Ninja cause of seat height then tried to ride her man's bike at stock height (she is 5'5") and dropped it trying to stop at a light; I still have no idea why he thought that she would be able to hold up the bike when on flat ground she had to lean it way over just to put one foot down. She tried my bike sinced it was lowered and had no problem-now she rides a 636 with no problem. She still is on just the balls of her feet but not on her tippy toes like before and she's able to use both feet rather than just leaning to one side.
For short people lowering links are a God send. I know I didn't want to be stuck to only a 250 Ninja and the thought of riding a crusier to me is like riding a moped-o.k. till your friends see you.
