depending on what you are doing, ecu tune for starters to get all the major stuff done. then use pcv with a map switch for whatever fine tuning you need for the alternative mapping, nos, race gas, etc etc. basically have a no map and run off ecu tune, then switch to second map that'd fine tune your fuel/timing tweaks for whatever secondary tuning you're doing.

on a side note, if you tune yourself with the ecu, you can install on on bike connector for ease of re-flashing.

I am not very knowledgeable about it but have heard that bikes with different power modes (like A & B or A, B & C) can have a different tune for each mode. I think that's how the different modes are programmed from the factory and they can be changed with an ECU flash. Of course, like the factory modes each tune/mode would have to work with the same bike configuration. Something that might be worth looking into if someone wanted to.
