maybe I don't understand drag racing, but doesn't the bike have to be past the timing light

to get his 1/4 mile time? What am I missing? Other than that, I loved the first link.

Depending on gearing, there are a lotta bikes that don't need to get outta third gear to cover 1/4 mile. Mine only barely gets into 4th gear before 130 MPH and the lights.

The rear wheel woulda broken the timing light and recorded a time as effectively as the front does.
