Does anybody just run stacks and filters? does it work? maybe a dumb question but possibly benefit anything?

why? to make the bike easier to work on basically.

if you just put air filters on the carbs, remove the ram air tubes and block the 2 black Tee's facing up or she will argue in a big way..

not a good idea, but i'm certain people have done that. keep the airbox and air-filter. they are your friends.

So ive hacked out the flapper valve. only to realize that the bike has a weak fuel pump and dynojet doesnt have any maps nearly rich enough for the airbox mod. So I'm looking to replace the airbox entirely at this point. And those pesky ram air seals.
