hey everyone , im not sure if there is a better section to post this question, but i tried to post it in sponsers/discounts, and dear gixxer, but it would not let me make a new post..i was just curious if we get any discount at indy super bikes from here? i know they are a sponser, and i thought i saw something that said put code.... in here to recieve a discount.
thanks for any input, im thinking im gonna have to buy a full pipe and pc and they were the best price ive found so far and figured if we got any discount that would be that much easier to talk the wife into..lol

sweet, how do you like the akro??? how does it sound?? loud/ deep??? how does the power feel? im stuck between the evolution and the yosh trs race ti system

not even close in hp, the Akra puts out more, Dyno night in Dallas 03-04 Gixxers with full Yosh 147-148, a member here had a Sudco he bought from a Gixxer.com member did 151, my Akra Race did 155. Get the race the 2 1/2 pounds are not worth $300. Mine pulls hard all the way to redline, the Yosh drops off at 11.5 weeee

thanks weee. how does the akro sound? ive heard people say its kinda quiet? i have a yosh rs 3 now and the main reason i want a new pipe is its way too quiet.im leaning toward the akro just from all the good things ive heard about it, bu t a little nervious eit will also be too quiet. im looking for a pipe that is deep and loud, not raspy... thansk again..rick

Idle is slightly quieter the my Yosh was, at full flap I think it is a little louder? not for sure? Im to busy watching the speedo fly to. weeeee

sweet pic! thats cool as hell, ive only got mine to 172 so far, but was still pulling hard. if you dont mind me asking ...how much did you get the akro for?. they had the evolution on there sight for @1200, i think the racing was @750-800??? just peeked quick at the racing was mostly going for the evolutuion. they have the full ti yosh trs for like 730 shipped with no doscounts..but you make a good point of the cost for a few pounds. how much differce in weight is the racing system vs the stock ti pipe?

Yes I have to say indysuperbikes is very goo that is who I got my evo II fromand all my other parts. They said some stuff we get a discount on and some not really what ever that means.

Will the 01-02 full Akrapovic fit the 03-04? Its about 100.00 cheaper then the 03-04 is. I don't see what would be different between the 2. There should not be any difference. The pipe goes under the motor (they both have the same motor) and then out and up.....? Anyone know for sure. If I can save 100.00, then I want to you know...

hey there 01 gixxer 1000, you can use the akro for the 01,02 on a 03/04 it will fit,BUT...i called akro to find out the differnce between the diffent part #s a while back when i was looking into buying a used evolution off a 01. the 01/02 part numbers do NOT have the balance tubes in the head pipes as the 03/04 models do which is why the 03/04 part # are more money and also why they make more mid power/tq. so you can use either part number but that is the differnce , so you need to go to akros web sight and look at there dyno chart for the 01/02 vs the 03/04 and see if the extra power is worth the $100.00 or not to you. me personally would go with the 03/04 nuber for the better power, if your already spending that much cash whats another 100....lol

Soooo...the ''race'' is better/more affordable than the ''evolution''?I'm about to buy one of these systems from the states but cant decide.Indysuperbikes the go? cheers.

hey woody.. good choice to go with the akro.... the race and evolution are basicly the same pipes except the race is made of stainless steel and the evolution is made from titainium. sound and performance are basicly the same .the main advantage to the evolution is the weight savings from the titainium... so basicly its up to you if the weight savings is worth the extra money...
