i got full akrapovic racing system and KN filter, but not power commander. Do i need this or it is waste of money.

Yes, a PC/Bazzaz is a waste of money but you really should get your ECU remapped. Find a tuning shop that can remap bike's ECU on a dyno.

you say that i should go to dyno tuning and find the perfect custom map or to download a map (k9 1000 akra full +kn) and just remap without dyno tuning if it is possible?

Always get a custom map.

Whether you go with a piggyback like PCV or Bazzaz, or through flashing the ECU. Downloading a generic map is a waste of money.

But yes, with a full exhaust, it is always a good idea to remap.

so i should go to dyno and get a custom map without pc or bazaaz ?? is it possible to only change map in original ecu ?

I am not sure what the options are in Macedonia really...

Do you have a good dyno tuner in your area? You shoukd fins out what their preferred method of tuning is, and go that route really.

Is the OEM Suzuki ECU flashable/tunable via the 'yoshibox' tune like the earlier K series 1000's were?

n if so is it a decent or otherwise adequate route to go down?

You can tweak fueling with Yoshibox or with more advanced flashing route.

If you can find a dyno shop that has a good knowledge in ECU flashing:

wow. there is heaps in there. though is that for the yoshibox tuning or the advanced woolich editor you are talking about?

I thought yoshibox would just give basic fuelling adjustments...

My experience,
Full system yoshi, pcv + free dyojet tune.... The bike runs strong and top end never quits.
I have a friend with same bike 2014 too, he thought flashing was better,anyways he got his ecu flashed then we kinda tested it vs the pcv.
2nd gear same power until 9k then pcv start pulling away.

Way too many variables to deem that a credible analysis

It's True lots of variables:
I Wieght 180lb vs 195
Same exhaust system
I think I'm better rider as shifting goes and wheelie control (maybe)If needed.
Gears and sprockets are the same.

Anyways this is what happened, and it was just for fun.
I wanted to switch bikes but did not have the chance.

So I have contacted a local shop that does tuning via the Woolich racing interface/module.

Seeking some advice now on whether to go for a standard tune of just the fueling or to go for some higher level stuff seeing as im in there/bike is on the dyno.
For example ignition tuning (extensive ignition tuning/or just the removal of the ignition retarding in the lower gears I suppose are the options). Or even getting a quickshifter put in which the store is offering.

Essentially I have 2 main goals in all this.
1: to get more midrange power which I feel I could use more of.
2: to make sure that the fuelling on the bike is correct and not running too lean or too fat anywhere due to my straight through exhaust (Yoshi 1/2 system).
*I am wondering if just the fueling tune would achieve both these goals...

The quickshifter would be a sweet addition but if it costs major $, or otherwise isn't a highly performing unit (reading reviews on various quickshifting systems- OEM or aftermarket- says they aren't always great) and so would just be unenjoyable to use at lower throttle/rpm combinations then perhaps this also would be worth omitting.

So based on these goals does anybody have any thoughts on what is a good choice and not unnecessary overkill/wasted money?

Go for the custom fuel+ignition map. Don't bother with the QS unless you are racing.

I think you might be right. its $1000AUD for the fuel and ignition tuning, and 2500 for the tune + quickshifter and launch control...
that's getting into mad money... :(

IGN map takes a lot of dyno time and with a stock engine there's not much to gain. You could ask them to activate quickshifter using EcuEditor and then add one later if you want.
