Anybody have experience with it ? I have no manual, but assume I have to take out the allen bolt at the bottem of the fork (?), but can't get it out. The cartridge is happily turning with the bolt when I try to loosen it. I have removed the oil, put extra pressure on the fork by compressing it with a strap, and used an air tool. Still the b**** won't come out . Anybody have a golden tip ?

Hi Frankie,

I dunno `bout the upside-downies specifically, but I ran into the same problem when I hadda do the fork seals on my `86... there is a "special tool" that looks sorta like a 4 sided pyramid that goes on a 1/2" socket extension that will get into the tube and hold the part that's spinning... I suspect there's a similar tool for the upside-downies... ask your <gasp> dealer...

I know it a male genetic fault but...get a manual. If they're USD's like mine a Clymer will have a nice exploded view of the total assembly and have step-by-step instructions of how not to screw them up.
The other option is to get the Suzuki factory manual for that model.
