I went to a new gym two days ago (Pure Fitness) and worked out my legs. Did some leg curls, squats, and that machine where you spread your legs and there is resistance. Dont know what it is called. Anyway, my groin is killing me. I can hardly walk. The rest of my muscles feel fine, no soreness at all, but its so bad its hard to sleep at night.

What do you think could have happened? There was no sudden pain while working out. After weights I ran for about 30 min on the treadmill. Everything felt fine afterwards. It was the next day that the pain set in.

it is just sore. You rarely ever use those muscles so when you isolated them, they got sore. Just try to stretch and get them warmed up to work some of the soreness out.

I'm a goalie in hockey, i've pulled my groin before, but not from working out.

Like Gixx said, give it about a week and do some stretching. If its still there you've got something else on your hands.

not to get too graphic, but where exactly does it hurt?
