OMG, who saw this crap? Denver should be 0-1 but I'll take it. Mike Nolan was an idiot for going away from the pressure defense that held the Bengals scoreless the ENTIRE game up until 2min left. They went to a zone and you can't run that with someone like Palmer because he will pick you apart... which he did. Denver deserved to lose but credit to Stokely for keeping his concentration and knowing to milk the clock before going in for the go ahead score.

It's gonna be a loooong season as a Bronco fan and we'll take 'em any way we can get them.

That was a lucky bounce for sure but in the end a W is a W.

And have fun with Nolan.

Sincerely,

A Niners fan.
He was a decent defensive coordinator just not the best head coach. I'm alright with him as defensive coordinator as long as he doesn't repeat what he did today but going away from what worked when the game is on the line. I hate that shit and it's a habit that cost Shanahan his job the last couple years.

You're right, it did! Go Houston!! Loving the upsets so far this year. Too bad USC pulled it out right at the end and too bad a couple other underdogs couldn't hold on just a few more minutes yesterday.

What a crazy finish. Thats the great thing about football...one min the Bengals were all going crazy and in one play they it all changed.

Denver will never be good with Orton...sorry, I just do not think he is that good at all.

No arguments here. There are two types of fans in Denver right now and I'm in the group that Douche McDaniels is a retard and we're worse off w/o Cutler. I can't believe some people respect McDaniels and think we're better off w/o Cutler.

You're right Jer, it is going to be a looong year for us Broncos fans. I'll take that lucky win too because it might be one of the few :)

I'm not sure Eddie Royal needs to return kicks anymore either. I love the guy, but what the hell was he doing running that kick from seven yards deep in the end zone?

We both got a break this weekend, Jer. Denver got that lucky bounce and the Raiduhs got that TD negated to make it only a FG. It certainly is nice to see the Raiders lose....especially to the Bolts.

I only saw the first half but if they are going to be good, they better work on there passing game.
When they needed it it was alright. Not stellar and the linebacker had a few passes go nowhere near where it was meant to but that happens. Russell will continue to get better especially when his rookie receiving core comes around. There were plenty of passes dropped that shouldn't have been also so it's not all on his shoulders. Their run game, pass protection and defense are top notch. Let's not forget that they were leading the Super Bowl favorite Chargers for 45min of that game. They weren't exactly playing the Lions and they hung with them in every aspect. All that spells is bad news for my Broncos because they couldn't beat them when they sucked so now they're really in trouble.

Jer...the Raiders seem to improve at times, but then they implode so gloriously at other times. They played hard defense on Monday. Looked good. But....they somehow also find a way to lose games. Denver will easily handle Oaktown this year.

I don't know about that. Did you see how they pulled of a W against the confused Bengals? Oakland stood their ground against lots of 'experts' pre-season pick to represent the AFC in the Super Bowl so let's give credit where credit is due.

Damn I hate it whenever somebody has to lay the "going to the superbowl" label on the Chargers. I hate it! I will not even mention it when in conversation. Until they get there, I will not speak of it.

Denver did what it had to do. I am a little scared that Orton is the man, now. But hell....Cutler looked like crap with the Bears last week.
