For the first time in something like 15 years, this year I went to the local Superbikes round about 30km (20 miles give or take) away from me. Boy did I enjoy the days racing. Bike speed and handling have really gone up a notch or two since the last time I watched a race live, and even then they were fast. Now they are like missiles. The very latest round was due to be run over this past weekend. Since it's just too far away for me go, I decided to watch it via live stream on the net. Went onto the site on Saturday and of course up came the inevitable message about the damned covid-19 and cancellation... Ahh, for crying out loud - cancelled.. I guess it's like this all over the world with different events etc...!!!
