Anyone done this and been succesfull?
I'd like to coat a big block with something that matches as close as possible to the original finish. (and is durable)
What I don't want is to get the engine in and have any coating peel off.
Any ideas / sugestions???

Hi im new to the group and currently building a 85 750 gixxer which i have powdercoated a lot of stuff on it, with the engine case you will need to get it sand or glass beaded for the powder to stick to it well and you should be ok.

Powder coating works well on all finishes even polished. All stock cylinder/blocks are Powder coated and all stock polished partsare either Powder coated or clear anoidized.
