As the title says, I recently purchased a set of CRG Bar End Mirrors and their universal adapter for the install. I have come into a problem in that the stock handlebars I have are threaded and do not have enough room for the adapter to fit inside. I have found a plethora of videos online of people removing their handlebar cores to make way for various handlebar accessories. I am curious if this is possible with my bike, I inspected the area and it seems to be a solid metal tube and has me thinking that the interior of the bar is threaded and there isn’t an inserted piece. Am I wrong? Is this removable? If so, how do you suggest I go about this?

Thank you for your time.

I ground off the part of the mirror mount that should go inside a hollow clip on. Then installed the mirror mount flush against the clip on. Works perfectly.
