Please indicate what GSXR you ride and your town. Pics would be great too BTW.

I own a 2003 GSXR600 Yellow and Black and ride in Fort Carson/ Colorado Springs.

If i understand, your question, then the answer is Boulder and Republic of Boulder is the same City... just a nick name that has been around for a very very long time.

I might take a ride up to Estes Park this Saturday. CU plays Georgia Bulldogs in NCAAF here in Boulder this Saturday, so i need to get the fuck out of town for a few hours 'cause traffic in this small town is going to be a Beatch !!!!

I have to agree about the traffic. I think it was a normal day when I passed through there back in March during my R&R. The traffic was hell then.

No track days for me yet. But i am getting leathers this winter, so i will definitely be track ready by May.

truth is, i'm in love with that bike also
got rid of all the factory stickers except for the metallic badges, i like the clean look
as far as track days, i'm working on it
closest track is nearly 200miles away
i got about a month left this season to get my s$%t together and find a way onto that track

on another note, we do a weekly organized ride,Sundays, generally 300-500miles
a"spirited" pace is kept
any intrest?

meet Avon,1-70(i know, i hate the freeway also) to DEbeque cuttoff, to 141 gateway, to ridgeway, then home over Mclure pass
if time allows, we will do an in and back at the black canyon
90miles on i-70, then all the rest on proper 2lane twisties
anyone?

Wow, sounds like fun.... Doubt i would be able to join this month, but then the snow may be here by Novermber, so it wil probably be a while. I need to check out gymsum sometime. Never been there.

Whats up guys...I'm from down Southeast CO (Rocky Ford).

Ride an 09 GSX-R1000 Black/Maroon. Love to take off for the weekend and hit the canyons, mostly up through Canyon City over to Salida and back in that area.

Usually ride with my buddy and thats it would love to have anyone else interested join us. Once the weathers nice of course. Here is a couple pics of the bike when I first got it, have new Pazzo's, Speedohealer, and HID kit on it right now...waiting for a little extra cash to buy exhaust and PCV.

Fort Collins here... Just bought a mechanically sound but cosmetically beat '05 750 dirt cheap (canyon whore)... If it's at least 40 degrees out the gix gets a flogging. Looking forward to some spirited spring/summer canyon rides!
