OK guys here ‘s one for you:

I have had an intermittent problem over the past two or three weeks. At times my bike will not rev past 4k or so. It seems as though I am dragging an anchor. When it happened today I was fortunate enough to be able to switch it to “Dealer Mode”… I got a “-C28” code.
So now that I know that my “secondary throttle control actuator” is not receiving a signal from the “Electronic Control Module”.

How do I fix this???

What model you got If its a 2000/01 750
It could also mean the STV cables need ajusting or one of them is badly frayed or broken not allowing the valve to work which would throw up the C28 fault.

C28
The book says check.
STV actuator
STV actuator adjustment
STV lead wires/coupler

From your description of the problem its more likely a wirng fault
