When I let the clutch out in neutral, there is some rattling noise which seems to be coming from the clutch area. It lessens when I pull in the clutch. It has been making this noise since I bought my 2008 B-King, which was over 1000 miles ago. Everything works fine and I don't hear this noise when moving or shifting. Is this normal?

ETA: The bike only has 8600 miles.

This can be a fairly subjective thing. Mine has a slight rattle, just noticeable over the Yoshi. Other bikes I've owned over the years have rattled a lot more. My s1000RR made a clunking noise! Recently I did the 3-point clutch adjustment and that seemed to quieten things down a tad, but there's still a slight rattle on idle. So long as it doesn't slip on WOT or whatever maybe there's nothing to worry about.
Thanks.

I'm not too worried because the clutch works quite well and very smoothly and it doesn't slip in high gears. Just checking.

Normal. When you let out the clutch in neutral, the machine spins the transmission input shaft. Squeeze the clutch, and you stop spinning both that shaft and the clutch output. Less spinny things- less noise.
