Hey everyone,
Curious if someone can help me with a slipping clutch issue? I have a K4 750 and a new clutch wich has done 5,000k's and has just started slipping top end of rpm but only to the point were if u get off the power and back on half the time it bites or just keeps on being a pain in the arse! Just done full service, full syn oil, bout 10mm play on lever. Would it need adjusting on clutch it's self being so new or would it be fingered and time for another clutch?

Why was a new clutch needed in the first place? And what kind of oil are you running. Yes it could just need adjusting.

..this; problem is between the front and rear tire, know what ah'm sayin?

find someone who knows what theyre doing to adjust your clutch hte right way. should be nowhere near that much freeplay in your lever. unless youve been drag racing or using maple syrup for oil, theres no way that clutch with 5k miles (or whatever) is bad already, unless you bought super duper cheap shit from china. but even the crappy clutch plates last longer than that, generally.

quit putzing around and get someone to sort it, your bike is dressed up like a car crash.
