I was hoping someone could help me figure out which l/h side switchgear assemblies had a choke on it or not. I think with the introduction of the 40mm carbs in 1991 (1100 in oz) the choke was moved to the carbs. Is this also true on the early flatslide models (again in oz)? Any help appreciated. Also if anyone has such a switchgear assembly (prefer earlier squarer style)that they want to sell drop me a line.

Adrock.

All GSXR's from 85-90 had the choke pull on the carbs, in 91 the choke was switched to a cable type with the lever on the bars.

Okay I should have been more indepth, the 1100 went to the choke on the bars in 91 and the 750 in 93 (or 92 for you UK guys) when they went to H2O alltough why anyone would want a water-pumper is beyond me.
