I am about to change the engine coolant on my Gsxr 750y, w reg year 2000, for the first time, does anyone recommend any product that suits my bike and does it need to be 50% distilled water and 50% antifreeze or can i make a weaker mix up has bike is garaged throughout the year and never left out in freezing weather.

Corrosion protection is just as important as freezing. You're playing with fire to use a weaker concentration and the cost savings will be quite small. If you don't know exactly what's currently in the bike, a flushing ritual is recommended to avoid mixing incompatible products. See this. I use G05 but it's become hard to find it undiluted and there are other quality coolants. Keep some of whatever you use on hand so you can top up with more of the same. Distilled water is cheap and readily available. I mix the G05 50/50 and write 50/50 in large letters on the jug that gets stored for later use.

I've been using the blue coolant sold at Honda car dealerships for a long time and never had an issue with it. I switched to that coolant after having a pump fail right after flushing the system and putting Motul Motocool in an XT660R. I wanted something that was readily available anywhere.
