I replaced my shift lever but bike will not seem to want to shift into any gear but neutral. And if i do get it past neutral I only can shift between neutral and 2 gear nothing else work any tips on how I can avoid taking it to the shop or spending any money

Was it hard shifting/non shifting before you changed the lever?

No it was shifting perfect before I had to change the lever

Best guess, the new shifter is binding on the rearset peg, but based on your info and picture the good news is it's not internal, my guess is the shifter likley wider at the rearset than the factory shifter.

Take the shift rod out and make sure your lever moves freely.
