So my tach jumps straight to 16k as soon as I turn the key on and drops to 14k when cranking. I'm not sure what kind of voltage I should be seeing at the CDI but it's about 8 volts and then drops to 5 when cranking. The bike seems to run fine except for the tach. I've inspected the harness and I don't see any cuts or exposed wire. Any ideas on what to test?
