I have a 1990 gsxr 750 with 36mm carbs. I ordered new carbs online. When I got them in the spacing on outer carbs was bigger on new ones. Can I get different boots and make them work? What would the wider carbs be off of? They have 117.5 main jets.

Well, his description is probably wrong. BST36 carbs are not flatslides, for instance.

The carb spacing for a GSX-R is 77mm, 93mm, 77mm. Measure the spacing on yours and see what you have.
