My original headlight surround was cracked so I thought it would be a good chance to upgrade. Got this headlight surround from a guy in England. Pretty cool. A little prep work and it will be sweeeet. What do you guys think?

Wasn’t he also selling an ’86-’87 upper front fairing in carbon?

Yeah, he was also selling the upper fairing. He has a mold and can make one on a whim. Quality on this piece is pretty good. It appears to be made of a single layer of bidirectional prepreg. About the same thickness as OEM. I'll just need to lightl sand it and bring it to a paint shop for a coat of clear. Once that's done it will really wake up the carbon "look".

Seriously considering the upper. I'd paint the red portions and decal it. Leave the dark blue sections (most of it) carbon and clearcoat.
