Hi Guys, I am wondering whether this is right or wrong, there's very mixed views online about this.
I believe the power to the rear wheel to be 92bhp as stated on several sites and wikipedia for my 1998 model GSXR 600 SRAD. Meaning its within limit for restriction (94bhp max)
A2 bikes.com also agree.
Would be good to know if anyone on here is riding a 600 SRAD with adequate insurance, or if anyone can source a restrictor kit for me to 47bhp?? I cannot seem to find one, only a 33bhp kit on ebay. (Is that kit adequate for insurers)?

Would be great to hear you guys' thoughts on this and any help would be much appreciated.

You can restrict it also by restricting throttle movement. Most bike shops that restrict bikes will be able to perform this.

There are restrictors out there and a good one will have to be professionally fitted and come with a certificate to prove so.
