My battery has died and i have been unsuccessful at roll-starting it. Can i jumpstart it with my car battery or will the different volts/amps potentially screw something up?

yes, you can use a car battery. But if the battery is dead you can't really harm a dead battery right? Unless it's just drained.

You'll be fine. It's 12v. Keep the car turned off though.

Also, for roll starting it. Try it in 2nd gear, much easier than 1st.

If u have no juice u cant bump start it, u need power to power the ecu/ign. and fuel pump. Usen a car batter to jump is fine, once u get it going, go get urself a battery tender, and let it charge her back up to full.

Best way to toast your bike's electrics is to use the alternator to (try to) charge a dead battery. Charge the battery with a low amperage, motorcycle friendly charger. If it will take and hold a charge, great. If not you need a new battery.
