The Hayabusa gen I has a very soft srung fork and not much damping either. I have tried the Gen I, Gen II, GSXR 1000 K3-4, K5-6, K7-8, K9-l1 and Kawasaki ZX6R 2009 fork on my racebikes and I rank them in that order ( worst--> Best ). The Kawasaki ZX6 were the best ( stock ). If yoy upgrade the internals then all with radial brakes are "best". ust different lenght and thickness were the triple tree are.
Can anyone explain how to mount carburetors in a slabisde with the original airbox. I used to have tapered filters installed, but I bought the original airbox. Service manual has no such information. Assembling the airbox was already difficult but how else to fit carburetors.
I have a couple of bikes sitting in my man cave which only see the road every month or so.

I'm an admirer of Japanese tuning shop built oil cooled GSX-R's with their blend of modern and period high-end tuning parts. I wanted something like that for myself, that hopefully could be worthy of creations by JB Power, TG Run, Advantage, Moto Junkie or Bright Logic etc.

I bought 3 bikes in a package deal. One motor is 1340, one is 1216, and the other one has a hole in it. They were drag bikes. The two larger ones run just fine. I'm about to pull them apart, but i was wondering if these displacement numbers are in line with specific kits that are offered...
