picked up a new bike.... was tossing and turning between options.

actually ended up doing and impulse buy an snatching up an 08 TE510.
got it for a good price, and now im tracking down some motard gear for it.
and stupid me forgot to take a photo of it.
so here's one for reference.

on the to do list are fork seals and swap it to motard form.
makes a decent amount of power (56-60hp with the mods it has), and it has the factory fit race kit (pipe and tune), plus force radiator guards, a thermo fan, a long range tank (brand new never used), a bash plate & a steering damper, the add ons alone cost half the price of what i paid for the bike. so pretty happy.
only done 1800km too.

came with all the original bits so i literally need the wheel and braking setup to convert it to tard spec.

the seat sucks. #theend

Except I'd be afraid to start it. I have a bonafide phobia of big 4-stroke thumpers dating back to the 80s when my buddy's TT500 threw my ass a good 5' and almost broke my ankle :cursing The start / decompression valve had been removed or deactivated but that bitch marked me for life.

i like kicking big bikes. but the bloke has warned me if it stops on TDC to roll it off the top, he didn't and it launched him off the bike. :lol

its got electric start too, but jesus this thing shakes like a mule, its worse than a harley!

so much fun to be had. found a complete motard setup for 2K with 511SMR forks, excel wheels brembo radial caliper etc etc
