I have a K5 750, went for a ride the other day and was alerted to it blowing quite a bit of smoke when changing gears or backing off. I just had it serviced recently (6000KM)and when I checked the oil level it was 700ml overfull, I drained some out of it but it is still blowing smoke. It's got me a bit worried ,any advice greatly appreciated..

If your oil foamed up then maybe it's in your evap system or in your pair system??? I don't think the evap would make anything smoke though, and the pair might but not very badly if for very long.

Thats a tricky one it is.

I'm guessing that oil is venting into the airbox since it's overfull, and it's burning some oil that way. Since your oil level is right now, try lifting the tank up and checking the airbox. I'd go ahead and pull the airbox and check the spark plugs while you're that close.

It's just coming out the exhaust right?
