Bike won't start

I just changed my fuel pump on my 05 GSX-R 600 and the bike ran perfectly fine; til I took it for a ride and ended up at 10,000 RPM in fith gear. When I approached a stop light I noticed the bike idling abnormal. I began to put the bike in first gear from neutral due to the stop light turning green. As I let off the clutch I noticed the bike loosing fuel pressure and the bike shut off gradually. My bike has not started up since.
